House next to the cliff in Cap Negre, Jávea, Alicante. In a privileged location, next to the cliff, between the Island of Portichol and the Cabo de la Nao, with spectacular panoramic views of 270 degrees and views of Ibiza on clear days.
Of the original building, from the 70s, only the tower and the existing porch between it and the house itself have been preserved, which is totally new, although starting from the trace of the original foundation.
The house is located in the Balcón al Mar residential complex, in one of the most exclusive areas of the Costa Blanca, and very close to the town of Jávea.
The new building opens to the Mediterranean sea; the south-east facade has large windows with which we “put the sea” into the main rooms of the house.
The semi-basement of the house and the retaining walls of the pool platform are covered in natural stone, producing the effect that the house is born from the hillside.
The main access and the rest of service elements face to northwest. From the tower we control a 360 degree arc
View of the dining room, with the swimming pool and the sea in the background.
